Leaf and Brush Removal Delayed for Springfield’s Streets
Leaf removal starts today for some streets.
In an announcement on the Township's website, announced that this year's leaf removal has been delayed.
The announcements attributes the delay to the costs accrued during the snow storm on October 29 and the elimination of overtime from the 2011 budget.
Several Springfield residents have complained about the delay in leaf pick up in comments on Patch, as well as on Facebook and elsewhere online.

In the announcement, officiails note that leaf removal in some sections of town has been completed. They esimate that the following sections will start on or around the dates listed below:
