The New Jersey of Department of Transportation will be doing maintenance work and paving a section of Morris Ave in Springfield.
The re-paving of Morris Ave will be from Short Hills Ave to Mountain Ave. Concrete and joint repairs will start immediately, followed by curb and sidewalk repairs which will last approximately 2 weeks.
Once this work is completed, milling and paving will start.

Most work will be done between the hours of 8 pm and 5 am, however concrete curb and sidewalk will be done during the day time hours. The work will be done by Lucas Construction Group, Inc. The total project should last about 6-7 weeks.
