Springfield 2013 Primary Election Results

Though no races were contested, voters cast their ballots.

Voters in Springfield didn't face any contested municipal elections in Tuesday's primary, but residents did cast their votes for the nominated candidates for township committee seats.

While Tuesday's election didn't see any clear winners or losers, it did indicate candidates could be in for a close race when they face off on Tuesday, Nov. 5:

Democratic Incumbents:

Mayor David Amlen: 290

Republican Challengers:

Jerome "Jerry" Fernandez: 303

Diane Stampoulos: 295

Township Committee meetings are held every second Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Town Hall.
