Springfield Republican Committee Seeks Prospective Candidates

One seat of the five-member Township Committee in Springfield is up for election in November.

The Springfield Republican Commitee is looking for individuals interested in serving the community either as a candidate for Township Committee or as a volunteer to support the effort.

The Republican Committee has issued the following message:

Do you have ideas for improving Springfield? Do you want to get involved in local government? Are you interested in running for office? The revitalized Springfield Republican party is proud of our history of involvement in the community.

Springfield Republican officials have advanced virtually all of the recent progress in our wonderful town, including the athletic turf field facility, the new senior citizen center, the Business Improvement District, the creation of a hometown television station, the increase in communication, transparency and open government, and total savings of several millions of dollars in the municipal budget.

Help us continue this legacy. The Springfield Republican Committee is looking for concerned and motivated residents who are interested in running for office and being a part of the team responsible for positive change in Springfield.
