Tuesday is Registration Deadline for Special Election
Clerk's office will remain open until 8 p.m.
Tuesday is the last day to register for the primary election to fill Sen. Frank Lautenberg's seat.
Township residents who will be over 18 by the Aug. 13 primary can register to vote at the Springfield Township Clerk's Office, located at 100 Mountain Ave., until 8 p.m.
All polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Aug. 13. The regular election will take place Wednesday, Oct. 16.
The election is the special primary for the U.S. Senate seat left vacant following Lautenberg's death on June 3.
