Summer Safety Series: Watch out for mold

Recent storms these last few weekends in the south Jersey area have affected everyone’s summer vacation. Don’t let water and storm damage extend its stay. Heat and moisture are partners in crime in creating mold that can ruin your home.

Be proactive in attacking and preventing mold.  Make sure to dry damp and wet areas in a timely manner. Any areas you suspect can have a mold/mildew issue; you want to clean with bleach immediately. If the item cannot be saved such as books and paper, dispose of it.
