On Sunday, March 9, 2014, the Saint James 4th grade girls CYO Basketball team defeated Saint Helen’s, Westfield, 15-4 to win their PeeWee CYO Basketball Championship during the Jim McElroy Basketball Tournament. Lead by head coach Jahn Kwinta, Saint James beat the undefeated Saint Helen’s at Jonathan Dayton High School in Springfield in an exciting match up of two excellent basketball teams.
