A Look Ahead: Bulldogs' Baseball and Softball
The Dayton baseball and softball squads will begin in a few days and we take a look at the squads and some of their early games.
Baseball
The Bulldogs look to build off of a strong 2011 campaign that saw them advance to the sectional round of the North 2 Group 1 playoffs before falling to Hoboken 6-0. This year's group will once again be led by staff ace Tommy Losito, who is also a strong hitter for Dayton. Matthew Roland also returns for the Bulldogs along with Nico Izzi and Jack Finnegan among others. Look for the Bulldogs to compete for the Union County crown and beyond.

Softball
The Bulldogs had a strong season that took them all the way to the quarterfinals of the North 2 Group 2 quarterfinal round before falling to Dunellen. This year's squad will be led by returning standouts Krista Delia and Heather Fritzen.
