Concerts End On High Note

Talent on display from Springfield's musical students.

A round of applause is due to the students who took to the Dayton stage over the past two Wednesdays for the Spring Concerts. The district wide strings, bands and choir concerts were absolutely amazing as performers, grades 6-12 alike played together as one for the 2010 finales.

Springfield has a strong music department, and it's important to spotlight their talent so that we ensure it has a long life here.

Strings Maestro and teacher David Hilton has really taught the kids to know their instrument and play passionately. He has been with some of the seniors since they were in 3rd grade, so he felt a great sense of accomplishment to see students remaining true to music.
