Deadline for Summer School Classes Extended

Registration is open until May 31

Thelma L. Sandmeier Elementary School Principal Hillary Corburn announced today that the deadline for Summer School registration has been extended to Tuesday, May 31.

In an announcement on the school's list serve, she said the deadline was pushed back and that there are still classes available for students in PreK to 8th grade.

These classes range from Do You Want to be a Superhero? for PreK 2 grades, to Science Olympiad for 6th through 8th grade students.

Sports programs, such as Olympic Floor Hockey and Baseball are offered, as well as arts and music classes like Summer Band, Ceramics and Arts & Crafts.

Corburn asked parents to hurry despite the extended registration, noting that some classes are already closed and others are filling fast.

Parents are asked to list first and second choices when submitting registrations.
