SPAC Advocacy Training Workshop

Empower yourself and gain a better understanding of advocacy (it's not all legislative). the State Public Affairs Committee (SPAC) of the Junior Leagues of NJ is hosting an Advocacy Training Workshop on Tuesday March 13th,2012 at Kean University. This 9:45 AM - 12:30 PM event will offer attendees a better understanding of the BJ legislative process, tools ofr investigating bills, insight into effective meetings/goals, and increased comfort level when contacting legislators or decision - makers on a local/school level. Guest speakers include Senator Barbara Buono (D-18) and Assemblywoman Alison Littell McHose (R-24). This event is FREE and OPEN to the public -students, non - profits staff, community volunteers, and Junior League members are encouraged to attend.
