Kim Hanley will be at the library to discuss the work of Abigail Adams, the wife of United States' second president John Adams. She will use the written words of Abigail and John Adams as the framework to recount Abigail's extraordinary life during the years up to and during America's struggle for independence, her role in politics and how she admonished her husband to "…remember the ladies," and clearly voiced the need for women's education and the abolition of slavery.
