Health Benefits of Familiar Herbs & Spices

On Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at 7:00 p.m., the Springfield Free Public Library will host Lorraine Harwelik who is a licensed NJ educator, dual certified clinical herbalist, and registered yoga teacher.  For more than 25 years, she has been helping people of all ages get well using natural diets, herbs and exercise.  She is the founder of Natural Therapeutics for Health, LLC, in Cranford.

Many of the herbs and spices that our parents and our ancestors used in meal preparation did more than just preserve the foods and make them taste better.  Traditional herbs and spices actually helped people to become healthy and stay healthy.  Which herbs and spices do you stock that can help you and your family?  Learn some interesting and encouraging facts about your spice cabinet.  After this class, your spice cabinet will have a more important role in your health.
