Irish Americans in the News Media

Seton Hall University's Pirates of Irish Persuasion & Extraction (PIPE) will sponsor a program on Irish Americans in the News Media on Monday, December 6 at 7:30pm in the Beck Rooms, ground level of Walsh Library, on the South Orange campus.  Presenters at the event will be Kathleen Mullin and Ray O'Hanlon.  Mullin, a faculty member at Seton Hall University School of Law, founded the Mullin Law Firm in New York City and is one of the nation's most sought-after legal analysts, appearing regularly on Court TV, FOX News, ABC, and CNN.  O'Hanlon, who is currently editor of the Irish Echo, worked for the Irish Press earlier in his journalistic career and is author of several books:  The New Irish Americans, Irish American Chronicle, and the soon-to-be-released The South Lawn Plot.  The event is free and open to the public.  For further information, please contact Dr. Maura Harrington at maura.harrington@shu.edu or 201.463.5967, or become a fan of Seton Hall University Irish Studies Discussion Series on Facebook (www.facebook.com/SHUIrishStudiesDiscussionSeries).
