At the Dec. 7 Board of Education meeting, the school district presented awards to the winners of the student Holiday Card contest.
Earlier this year, the school system held a holiday artwork contest. Students throughout the school district, from Kindergarten to High School entered works featuring snowmen, snowflakes, snowglobes and other iconic wintry images which where turned into holiday cards and sold through the school's Web site.
