Saint James the Apostle Students Excel in Roselle Catholic Scholastic Olympics

Seven eighth grade students placed in the top three of several of the subject categories and were awarded plaques.

The following was submitted by Saint James the Apostle: 

On October 23, 2013, the eighth grade students at Saint James the Apostle School in Springfield participated in the 42nd Annual Roselle Catholic High School Scholastic Olympics. Eleven schools in Union County participated in the competition.

Saint James is delighted to announce that seven of our eighth grade students placed in the top three of several of the subject categories and were awarded plaques. The winners were: Ian Ellmer - first in Mathematics; Gabrielle Musico – second in Mathematics; Camille Martinez - second in History; Thea Stratman-Olibrice – second in Religion; Lucia Alaimo – third in Current Events; Alyssa Carbonell – Third in Forensics; Susana Garcia – third in Art.
