Springfield Schools Supt. Announces Possible Make-up Dates for Future School Closings
Holiday weekends will be shortened to account for lost class time.
In a message sent out to Springfield schools' listservs, Schools Superintendent Michael Davino announced two make-up days when classes will be held if schools are closed because of weather.
In both cases, the days are part of holiday weekends.
If schools are closed for weather emergencies before Presidents' Weekend, Feb. 18-20, Springfield, Public Schools will be open on Friday, Feb. 18, as a make-up day.

If schools are closed for weather emergencies after Feb. 21,
Springfield Public Schools will be during the Easter break on Monday, April 25, as a make up day.
