Walton School Registration Starts Today
Enrollment is open for Springfield's pre-k through second grade-aged children.
The Edward V. Walton School is opening its doors and arms to new PreK-2nd grade Springfield students. They have started preliminary enrollment for the 2010-2011 school year.
To be eligible, a child must be a Springfield resident and have completed all requirements prior to submitting registration forms. Parents/Guardians need to bring the following materials to the main office at Walton by appointment only: Children's Birth Certificate, Current Immunization Records, four Proofs of Residency (NJ Driver's License, Utility bill, lease, contract, etc.)

For Pre-K, the student must be atleast four years of age on or before December 1. Any child entering Kindergarten must reach their fifth birthday on or before December 1. There are currently four Pre-K sessions in the morning and three in the afternoon.

There are currently over 120 Pre-K students in the program. Once a week, students will explore art, music and library.
