Dayton Football Blasts Bound Brook for First Win

Jerod Fletcher and John Turner each score two touchdowns in Bulldogs victory.

The Jonathan Dayton High School football team took on Bound Brook under the lights Friday night on the new turf field and scored the team's first win of the season, with the Bulldogs besting the Crusaders 55-28.

Dayton took an early lead, coming out of the first quarter up 21-14, thanks to a one-handed interception by Joey Iuliano, according to Dayton Football. Brendan Burke also intercepted the ball and ran it in for a touchdown. 

Jerod Fletcher scored two touchdowns as did John Turner. 

Up next: the Bulldogs take on the New Providence Pioneers Friday at New Providence.
