Dayton Girls Soccer Team Falls to Glen Ridge in Semis
Contender for best in Union County, goalkeeper Ricci Rajoppi made 19 saves.
The Jonathan Dayton High School girls soccer team was defeated by Glen Ridge, 4-0, in the NJSIAA Tournament Semifinal Round, North Jersey, Section 2, Group 1 Monday.
Dayton goalkeeper Ricci Rajoppi, in contension to be named The Star-Ledger's best girls soccer player in Union County, had 19 saves, according to NJ.com. Fans of Rajoppi have until 11:59 p.m. Tuesday to vote for her. Visit the Ledger poll here.
The Dayton boys soccer team takes on Brearley Tuesday in the semifinal round.
