Springfield Basketball's Annual 'Pink Zone' Set for Feb. 2

Join the fun and help Springfield Basketball beat its $5,000 goal to benefit Kay Yow WBCA Cancer Fund.

Springfield Basketball is shooting to raise $5,000 to fight breast cancer when it hosts its annual 'Pink Zone' fundraiser from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 2 at Jonathan Dayton High School.

Boys and girls in grades 3 through 8 can join coaches and players from Moravian College and Dayton High School for a clinic that includes dribbling, shooting, and other game-playing skills. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Kay Yow WBCA Cancer Fund. Last year's event raised $3,000, according to Springfield Basketball's Glenn Wohl.

Participants whose registrations are received by Tuesday, Jan. 21 are guaranteed a t-shirt. The registration fee is $20 if received/registered by that date. Following, Jan. 21, the fee to register or walk in and play will be $30.

Registration can be found here. Due to credit card/PayPal costs, Springfield Basketball is not providing online payment options. However, participants are asked to please register online and send payment to Springfield Basketball at PO Box 1353, Springeld, NJ 07081. All checks should be made payable to "Springfield Basketball Association." For those paying the day of the clinic, credit card payments will be accepted. The registration form can be found here.

Moravian and Springfield Basketball merchandise will be sold on site, with all proceeds donated to Kay Yow WBCA Cancer Fund. A bake sale will also benefit the cause.
