Memorial Day is a way for residents to pay tribute to men and women who have sacrificed their lives for our country.
Springfield is hosting its annual Memorial Day parade and service Monday in memory of those who have died while serving in the United States Armed Forces.
The parade starts at 10 a.m. Monday, May 27 at Town Hall and proceeds toward Veterans Park.
