Girl Scouts Learn About First Aid Squad

Troop members visit Springfield's EMS volunteers.

Earlier this month, members of Springfield's Girl Scout troop 40094 visited the volunteers of the Springfield First Aid Squad.

Scouts received a tour of one of the squad's ambulances. They were also provided with supplies to assemble their own first aid kits.

Squad members Diego Ribadeneyra, Sam Feldman, and Vesna Stoicovici were on hand to demonstrate bandaging and other first aid skills.

The girls were appreciative of the opportunity to learn about the importance of the First Aid Squad's role in the community.
