Springfield Girl Scouts Receive Bronze Award at Bridging Ceremony
Girl Scouts honored as they move up in Scouts.
Congratulations to Springfield's Girl Scouts.
On Friday June 10, Springfield Junior Girl Scout troop 634 held their bridging ceremony, where Scouts celebrated moving up in ranks to Cadettes.
Also at the ceremony, the scouts received the Bronze Award, the highest award a Junior girl scout can achieve. The Springfield scouts earned the Bronze award through a service project involving working at an animal shelter and learning how to certify dogs to become therapy pets.
