The recently opened supermarket and wine sellers provided the food and other items in the basket. Donated items ranged from cooking oil to toilet paper. One Rotarian described the goods in each basket as enough groceries for a week.

Special thanks to Stew Leonard's for the generous donation of 20 turkeys and to the folks at the new SEABRA's market for their GENEROUS support of this project. Rotarians are truly the most giving group of people I have ever seen. Springfield HOPE continues to amaze me by their deeds for the population of Springfield, NJ. I'm very proud of all of you.

That's nice of them. I have been meaning to go to the Seabra store to check it out, but am not sure what kind of store it is? What is the Rotary club anyway? Have also been thinking of checking out clubs in the area. Do they do volunteer work for people? I would love to do that.
