Youtube: Springfield Hope's Collected Toys
The local charitable organization collected over 300 toys this season.
This Holiday season, Springfield HOPE launched a new program, Toys for Springfield Kids, which solicited donations of new, unwrapped toys for donation to Springfield's needy familes. Collection boxes were placed in Town Hall, Kearny Federal Savings Bank, Dr. Gary Hecht's office and elsewhere.
On Dec. 21, the day before Santa Clause came to visit Dr. Brecht's office, Springfield HOPE placed a video of the toys they had collected on Youtube. Thanks to the donations of Springfield residents, Dr. Brecht's office was transformed into FAO Schwartz.
