Dayton Senior to Sign Letter of Intent, Documentary Series Ends This Week

Wine Library brings importer and author Kermit Lynch to Springfield.

The Springfield Free Public Library will screen the final film of its award-winning documentaries series on Wednesday at 7 p.m. Stories We Tell (2012, rated PG, 108 minutes) is a film that excavates layers of myth and memory to find the elusive truth at the core of a family of storytellers. Directed by Sarah Polley.  

On Wednesday, a Jonathan Dayton High School senior will sign a letter of intent accepting an athletic scholarship to wrestle collegiately. Check back with Patch for more information. 

Wine Library offers a free seminar series, which is open to the public. Please email Sandra (szotti@winelibrary.com) to RSVP for Thursday's book signing with legendary importer Kermit Lynch. From 5 to 8 p.m. Lynch will visit the Wine Library for the 25th anniversary of the release of his book, 'Adventures on the Wine Route: A Wine Buyer's Tour of France.'
