Vintage Jewelry Sale Begins, Fall Festival, Car Show Cruises Into Town

Springfield public schools are closed Monday. 

Springfield Library Friends Announce Vintage Jewelry Sale: The Friends of the Springfield Free Public Library will hold their annual Vintage Jewelry Sale Friday through Sunday at the Springfield Free Public Library, 66 Mountain Ave., Springfield. 

There will be a preview sale on Thursday from noon - 3 p.m. for members of the Friends. Memberships will be accepted the day of the sale.  Memberships start at $10. Public sale hours are:  10 - 4 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday in conjunction with the Springfield Street Fair.

Fall Festival and Car Show Cruises Into Springfield: Looking for an opportunity to get outdoors and enjoy the autumn weather without leaving town? The annual Springfield Patriot Chamber of Commerce Fall Festival and Car Show is coming to Mountain Avenue in front of the Municipal Building from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
