James Caldwell Elementary School

Named after a revolutionary war-era clergyman who fought in the battle of Springfield, James Caldwell is one of two elementary schools in Springfield and holds classes for students in grades 3-5. Student activities include a newspaper club, student council and a number of after-school programs.
Students take part in 40-minute physical education classes twice a week. The classes focus both on movement and nutrition.
