Summit PD Says Stay Off the Roads

Tractor-trailer accident on 78 attributed to snow, police and fire department say snow-covered roads are very dangerous right now.

Please avoid non essential travel," said a Nixle alert from Summit police just after 8p.m. A nor'easter that's passing through the region is making road conditions dangerous. "The roads are pretty bad," said Deputy Fire Chief Eric Evers. He said the department has already answered a few calls of downed wires, but a top concern at the moment is the roads.
