Township Committee Meets Tonight

Meeting will include Sandy recognitions.

This month, Springfield's Township Committee meeting schedule has been shifted. Instead of meeting on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month as they usually do, the committee meets on the first and the third Tuesdays.  The meeting starts with recognition of members of the community who went above and beyond to help fellow residents cope with Tropical Storm Sandy. According to an announcement on the township website, municipal employees, residents, students, teachers, members of civic and community organizations, and houses of worship and local businesses will be honored.
