Springfield Skaters Start the New Year with a Bang
Local skaters take the ice at Manhattan's Bryant Park.
On Jan. 5, Precisely Right Synchronized Skating Team's junior team, consisting of 20 high school-aged girls from the tri state area, skated in “Sing & Skate Against Breast Cancer” with Winter Olympians, Kimmie Meisner, Emily Hughes, Nicole Bobek and Jo Jo Starbuck at CitiPond, Bryant Park in New York City. Precisely Right was honored to be asked to skate for such a great cause with these Olympians. While the junior team exhibited in NYC, the Pre-Juvenile (including FMG seventh graders at Jessica Kaplan and Marissa Steiner) and Open Adult teams took on the fierce competition at the Colonial Classic Synchronized Competition in Lowell, MA.
