Monday Get your fresh veggies, ingredients and more.Springfield's weekly farmers' market is open today at the Jonathan Dayton High Schoolparking lot from noon to 6 p.m. Tonight at 7 p.m., the library hosts its weekly scrabble games.  Tuesday It's the final night of Union County's “Family Fun and Flix.” The event starts at dusk at at Conant Park in Hillside and will feature a display of reptiles from the Trailside Ecovan followed by a showing of the animated action comedy spy film, “Cars 2. Wednesday The Library Board of Trustees meets at 7:30pm at the Municipal Building.  McLynn's holds its weekly open mic night tonight at 9 p.m. Every Wednesday evening the Jewish Learning Center hosts a Torah in our Time roundtable focusing on Jewish …

Tuesday Union County holds its annual ‘National Night Out’ at Meisel Park starting at 6 p.m. Local first responders and their emergency vehicles, plus live demonstrations by Union County Police, S.W.A.T., Bomb Squad officers and more. Monday Springfield's Farmers' Market opens for the season today at the Dayton parking lot. The market features a variety of fresh and prepared foods and is open from noon to six.  Tonight at 7 p.m., the library hosts its weekly scrabble games.  Also at the library, the Woody Allen film retrospective series continues with a 1 p.m. screening. USA Karate offers a free Krav Maga self-defense class for adults and Teens from 8-9 p.m.  Tuesday Shade and Shadows, an exhibit from photographer Sam Awad, will be on exhibit at the Library all week.  Wednesday  Happy 4th of July. The Springfield Memorial Day parade starts at 10 a.m. outside of town hall.
