New Recycling Collection Advisory
Official announcement on collection of recycling.
The following is an announcement from Springfield officials. ------------- Recycling collection services will increase from every other week to every Wednesday, effective this Wednesday, Jan. 2. In addition, you now do not have to separate your recyclable paper products from recyclable glass, plastic and cans—you can now mix or co-mingle different types of recyclable materials into one container. This collection method is easier for residents and referred to as single—stream recycling. Every Wednesday recycling collection and you can mix recyclable materials into one single stream and container. See the attached document for details.
