First Aid Squad Swears in New Crew Chiefs
Veteran volunteer public safety workers take on new leadership roles.
Springfield's First Aid Squad welcomed five new crew chiefs to its roster at the Township Committee meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 22. The five new crew chiefs, Stu Maslow, Richard Raymond, Shira Raymond, Jeremey Salow and Shane Ronan, are all veteran members of the squad with years of experience responding to emergencies and saving lives. Before they sworn in, First Aid Squad Captain Apu Mullick explained that crew chiefs are essentially shift supervisors and extolled the qualifications of each new chief. With them in place, the First Aid Squad has a total of 18 crew chiefs.
