About Matt
Hi baseball fans. I'm Matt Nadel, an 8th grader from Springfield, NJ who loves video games, chocolate ice cream with rice krispies, and especially baseball. My favorite team from the 21st century is the New York Yankees. But I also love the whole history of the game, including the great old timers, teams, ballparks and events of the past. Ever since I was about eight years old, I've always preferred reading baseball history books over fiction books.
Back in April 2012, I started a baseball history blog called Baseball with Matt. The reason I started the blog is because as I learned more about baseball, I found that most of my friends knew very little about baseball history. I thought that a blog would be a fun way to teach kids (and even some adults) about the history of our national pastime. So far, I've posted over 80 posts on my blog, have over 18,500 views, and recently interviewed Yogi Berra, Fred Lynn, Jim Palmer, Hank Aaron and even Babe Ruth. Feel free to check out my blog, and please tell your friends, if you like it. You can contact me directly at mattamdad@gmail.com, and you can follow me on Twitter @BaseballwMatt.
I'm also the youngest Pro blogger on MLB.com on my site which is www.baseballwithmatt.mlblogs.com. It has the same stuff as my original blog.
