Dayton Principal Issues Back-to-School Night Reminders

The PTSO will have a membership table and students will have information on clubs and teams as well.

Jonathan Dayton High School will host back to school night on Tuesday. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the first period will begin promptly at 7 p.m.

Parents are asked to enter through the auditorium doors and student volunteers will have paper copies of students' schedules on hand.

In an email to parents, Dayton Principal Elizabeth Cresci wrote, "Back to School Night is always a wonderful evening and I look forward to seeing all of you."

The PTSO will have a membership table and information about clubs and teams will also be available for parents and guardians.

Cresci also pointed out that the PTSO is sponsoring an opportunity for students to take a shortened, practice SAT and ACT to get a sense of which assessment is better suited to their abilities. The test, organized by Princeton Review, will take place on Saturday, Sept. 28 "for the unbelievably low cost of $20."

"PTSO members will have sign-up information for you on Tuesday night and I urge all of you to consider this terrific opportunity," she wrote.

Please check the school's website to get detailed information on the evening's schedule.
