Fernandez, Huber Win Township Committee Seats

Republican Jerry Fernandez returns to the Township Committee, while Democrat Richard Huber retains his seat.

Republican challenger former Township Committeeman Jerry Fernandez and incumbent Deputy Mayor Richard Huber, a Democrat, have emerged the victors in Tuesday's election for Township Committee seats. 

Fernandez drew the most votes, with 2,287 ballots cast his way, while Huber won 2,179 votes. Diane Stampoulos, Fernandez's running mate, garnered 2,144 votes, while incumbent Mayor David Amlen won 2,085 votes. 

Town Clerk Linda Donnelly explained that a new mayor will be selected by the Democrats.
