Fourth of July Celebration Features Food, Fireworks

Music, games and rides will also be available.

With summer officially starting Friday, Springfield Township is busy preparing for its annual Fourth of July celebration.

The fun begins at 5 p.m. at Meisel Avenue Park. In addition to the fireworks display, which will begin after dark, attendees can enjoy music from the 1910 Fruitgum Company as well as The Toys featuring Barbara Harris. 

A $5 donation per person is suggested. Rides, games, food and drinks will be available at a separate cost.

The event is sponsored by JMK Auto Sales, Inc., Union Center National Bank, Cardinal Land Properties, Inc. Lincensed Real Estate Brokers, Springfield Patriot Chamber of Commerce, No Body Denied, Hecht Family Chiropractic, and Springfield BID.
