Garbage Truck Fire on Caldwell Place Extinguished
Caldwell Place was closed for under an hour and there was no impact on Caldwell Elementary School.
A garbage truck fire that began before noon Wednesday on Caldwell Place was extinguished by Engine 4 (Tour 1), according to the Springfield Fire Department.
Caldwell Place was closed for less than an hour and James Caldwell Elementary School was not impacted.
The Department of Public Works helped in clearing debris from the roadway.
