Springfield will receive about $450,000 less from New Jersey in aid than in the last year according to an announcement by the state late Thursday afternoon. According to a document released by the state's Division of Community Affairs, Springfield is slated to receive $1,753,357, down from the $2,204,095 Springfield received in state aid in 2009.
