A HOMETOWN GIRL PERFORMS…IN HER HOMETOWN! UNION COUNTY’S ORIA ASPEN TO PLAY WESTFIELD’S SWEET SOUNDS DOWNTOWN JAZZ FESTIVAL, TUESDAY, JULY 17th

Union County singer-songwriter Oria Aspen will perform at
Westfield’s Sweet Sounds Downtown Jazz Festival on Tuesday, July 17th.  Oria will be featured with The Glenn Alexander Group at the annual outdoor event and will perform from 7-9pm. Raindate for the event is the following day, Wednesday, July 18th.

Oria will not only show her versatility by tackling some
jazz standards with The Glenn Alexander Group, but she’ll also be playing selections from Yellow Paint, her highly-praised debut album.

A deeply personal journey through everyday life, Yellow Paint is a collection of 14 songs - all but one written
by 17-year-old Oria. Sometimes sassy, sometimes
heartbreaking, sometimes raucous, but always passionate, Yellow Paint conveys the hopes, fears, frustrations and joys that we all experience.  Yellow Paint not only showcases Oria’s impressive vocal ability and masterful flute skills, but also reveals her exceptional songwriting talent.  With Yellow Paint, Oria has managed not only
to paint a picture of her world, but has invited us be a part of it.
