Lunchtime Film Series - Springfield Library

The Springfield Free Public Library is hosting their lunchtime film series.  Today's film is  A Clockwork Orange (1971).  Stanley Kubrick reconfirms his mastery in this merciless vision of the future based on Anthony Burgess' chilling novel.  A sadistic murderer is caught and "rehabilitated" in a grisly government experiment.  A brilliant and mind-shattering film.  Starring Malcolm McDowell and Patrick Magee. This film is 137 minutes and Rated R.

Funding for the film program is made possible in part by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts, through a grant administered by the Union County Office of Cultural and Heritage Affairs, and by the Friends of the Springfield Public Library.
