DiPietro said the family has applied to the town for demolition permits for the most heavily damaged parts of the restaurant, which is the original part of the restaurant. The more recent lounge areas, damaged primarily by smoke and water will not be torn down. Parts of the restaurant, where the fire originated have already been torn down.

A look inside the restaurant entrance, which bore the brunt of the flames, shows a darkened burnt out section. A supporting beam in the ceiling looks like it could crumbled if touched.
