Fall Foliage Quarry Walk this Sunday
The annual nature trip through quarry takes place this weekend.
Join the Springfield Environmental Commission on Sunday, Dec. 2, at 1:30 p.m. for a rare opportunity to walk the Houdaille Quarry. This year, there will be one long walk to let people also attend Springfield's Tree Lighting Ceremony at Town Hall and the Cannon Ball House's event.
The organizers wish to remind interested parties to enter via Mount View Road wear sturdy water proof shoes or boots, just in case bring your own water bottle and/or drink. If there's heavy snow, the walk will be canceled.
