Halloween Treat Street Program Still on at Chisholm Center
Holiday party will go on as planned.
The snowy skies and icy temperatures may have disrupted Springfield's weekend Halloween celebrations, forcing the to cancel.
But not all of the Township's Halloween plans are off. The will host the Springfield Recreation Department's Treat Street Celebration. Elementary school children are invited to wear their costumes and take part in Halloween activities at the Chisholm center from 3-5 p.m.
Recreation director Mike Tennaro said that the lot at Chisholm is clear of snow and ready for cars full of trick or treaters.
