Officials Cut Ribbon on New Springfield Goodwill DonationXpress center

The new donation center offers a quick and easy way to get rid of the unwanted clothing, electronics, and other household items.

On Thursday, May 24, Union County Freeholders Angel G. Estrada, Mohamed Jalloh and Vernell Wright helped Goodwill NY-NJ Executive Vice President of Business Operations Mauricio Hernandez officially open the first DonationXpress center in New Jersey in Springfield.

Goodwill’s DonationXpress donation center, located next to the Dunkin Donuts at 649 Morris Turnpike, offers an easy way to get rid of the unwanted clothing, electronics and other household items.

The Freeholders were joined by Guy Watson, NJ Recycling and Solid Waste Bureau Chief, Glen Mortimer from Congressman Leonard Lance’s office, Goodwill NY-NJ’s Sanford Weinstein, Springfield Township Administrator Anthony Cancro and NJ State Senator Thomas Kean Jr.
