September 11, 2001 Remberance - Township of Union

The Township of Union is hosting a memorial ceremony in remembrance of the tragedy of September 11, 2001.  This event will take place tonight beginning at 6:30pm at the Town Hall Memorial Plaza.

A candlelight ceremony along with a flag ceremony by the Union High School JR. ROTC will take place, followed by poems and music to be presented in a somber remembrance.  “How did these last 10 years shape you? How will your generation keep the memory alive?” will be the themes of the poems presented.

The 9/11 Generation children will march to the ceremony from Connecticut Farms with parents and police. All are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs and join the Township of Union with family, friends and neighbors as we honor those that lost their lives on September 11, 2001.  For more information, call Natalie DaSilva at 908-851-5465.
