Driver Airlifted To Hospital After Route 22 Accident
The driver, Ronald Christian, was issued summons for careless operation, driving with a suspended license, unlicensed operation and having an uninsured vehicle.

On Monday, July 30, a 2003 black Saturn being driven by Ronald Christian, 23, of Irvington, NJ, traveling east on Route 22 was involved in an accident that resulted in Christian getting trapped in the car.
When approaching the area of Parkway Drive, the vehicle struck the curb, which caused the driver to lose control and strike a utility pole.

The driver, Ronald Christian, was pinned in the vehicle and had to be extricated and airlifted to UMDNJ hospital in Newark.
A passenger, Hasheem Youngblood, age 25 of Irvington, was uninjured.
