Springfield Cop Smells Pot, Arrests Kenilworth Woman for Possession

DATE: 03/01/2013     TIME: 7:13 pm      LOCATION: Route 22 East

Officer Anthony Reimer was exiting a convenience store on Route 22 just
as a vehicle parked in a space in front of the store. Through the open driver's
window of the car the officer detected the strong and pungent odor of what
was believed to be raw Marijuana.

A subsequent investigation resulted in the arrest of Nicole Vacula, age 27 of Kenilworth, a passenger in the vehicle.

She was charged with the Possession of under 50 gms of Marijuana and was later released with initial court appearance date in the Springfield Municipal Court.
